Tesla Model X Given Forgestar Wheels And A 3M Bright Yellow Wrap
Certainly over the top, but looking really good at the same time
The everlasting question for most people is how to stand out. For many people, it’s owning a car. However, when you own a car that’s really, really popular and you can run into the same vehicle, same color, same spec right down the road, then you resort to further customizations to your ride to set you apart. For the owner of this Tesla Model X, giving a personal touch to his vehicle was the choice that will allow his ride to be clearly different from every other Model X on the road today.
This particular Model X features a rather striking 3M yellow wrap and a set of Forgestar wheels. The wrap is definitely not everybody’s cup of tea, but it does the job of standing out perfectly. It’s bright yellow after all. And for this owner, that means standing out. Just what was wanted! In addition to the bright yellow wrap, this vehicle also features a clear bra, protecting the rather expensive 3M wrap from stone chips, scratches and similar events.
For the final touch for this Model X, the choice landed us with a set of lightweight Forgestar F14 wheels. These flow-formed wheels make for a perfect addition for this heavy all-electric people carrier. In turn, these wheels bring a well-known wheel design in a monoblock format that works perfectly with this vehicle. For the Model X, the wheels are sized 22×9 in the front and 22×10.5 in the rear, filling up those huge wheel arches perfectly. Finally, the owner went with a Gloss Black finish for his wheels, working well in contrast to the bright yellow finish of the exterior of this vehicle.
